This class is taught by an USCCA certified instructor. Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course. You will learn Florida's concealed carry laws, stand your ground laws and The Legal Use of Force, basic firearms knowledge and Shooting Fundamentals, Self-Defense Firearms Basics and Gear and Gadgets and more. This consist of a 3 hour classroom instruction with an outdoor live-fire qualification afterward.

If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
 
Classes are held at a very at an air conditioned office setting off CR210 in St. John's County in Saint Augustine, FL and the range qualification will be held at Saltwater Range on US1. in Saint Augustine. This Concealed Carry course is for anyone thinking of owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense and does not require any experience. If you have zero experience this class is a fantastic place to start your journey to personal defense.  Additionally, an USCCA representative will present and offer their services at the end of the class.
 
A firearm, ammunition and target will be provided for the range. *Everyone must wear eye and ear protection during the live fire portion of the class.  Both will be provided for you but it is encouraged for you to bring your own.  Normal ear plugs and Sunglasses work just fine.

A sweater or Jacket as the room gets cold.
A notepad to take notes writing utensil
